Weekend fun

We went to Shenoa's to spend the night on Friday. She and mom cooked dinner for my birthday (YUMMY!!!). The kids watching a movie and eating popcorn. Tinsley was not going to be left out.Trying to camp out in the tent ... it lasted about 15 minutes, and then we all had to sleep in our own rooms.

You would have thought it was summer, but the water was 68 degrees ... BRRRR!

Happy Anniversary!

I just wanted to take a moment to say Happy Anniversary to us! Chad and I celebrated our eighth anniversary this month. We didn't go out on the night of because it was during the week, but mom came and babysat tonight so we could have a date. We saw Date Night (appropriately enough---funny movie) and then went to Flemings for dinner. The chocolate lava cake is YUMMY!!! I'm not sure the meal was worth the cost, but it definitely made it a special night :-). Thanks mom for watching the kids! Thanks Chad for eight wonderful years and two beautiful daughters! And thanks mostly to God for sending me a wonderful Christian man to call my husband!

Mom and dad went to church with us, and then we had brunch at Tomato Head (YUM). Tinsley was not in the mood to take pictures.

Beautiful flowers and trees along Pellissippi Parkway. I almost waited too late. They were starting to wilt.
Tree climbing ... need to blur out the sign in the background. It ended up being in almost all of my pictures, but I didn't notice until I got home.

Everyone should stop and smell the flowers.
