To a land where joy shall never end ...

Heaven gained an angel yesterday when my precious 94 year old Granny went to be with Jesus. This song was one of my Papaw's favorite, and they are probably singing it together today :-). I love you Granny, and I miss you already. See you again soon ...
I'll Fly Away
by Albert E. Brumley

Some glad morning when this life is o'er,
I'll fly away;
To a home on God's celestial shore,
I'll fly away (I'll fly away).

When the shadows of this life have gone,
I'll fly away;
Like a bird from prison bars has flown,
I'll fly away (I'll fly away)

Just a few more weary days and then,
I'll fly away;
To a land where joy shall never end,
I'll fly away (I'll fly away)

Chorus
I'll fly away, Oh Glory
I'll fly away; (in the morning)
When I die, Hallelujah, by and by,
I'll fly away (I'll fly away).

Ed ducks

We've had ducks running around the parking lot of our office for several months now. Someone had already discovered the nest, and this morning we found these sweet ducklings and their mommy roaming around the parking lot and landscaping around the building. We decided that they were in danger so near to traffic around so they were corralled into a box with Mommy going back and forth around the side of the building to check on them (she could not be caught this morning but has since joined her babies in a cage until they can be taken to safety). Someone from work has volunteered to take them all to a lake near their house. They are so cute!!! I think we may have unofficially adopted a mascot :-).

Mommy is in the front of the group (she's hard to see in the grass) with her sweet babies following along behind. I think someone counted 13 of them!!!

Happy Anniversary!

Chad and I celebrated our nine year anniversary last week with dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. It was a great night, and I'm glad we took the time to celebrate each other. I love you, Chad!

Seaweed

This weekend Chad was working in the yard. Briley told me that he was about to mow and seaweed (weed eat). I just thought that was so cute!!! Hope you are having a great week!!!

Prayers

The girls are so cute with their bedtime prayers. I just had to write this down before I forgot. Briley's version of what she has heard me say: "and thank you most of all for sending your son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for saving our sins." Tinsley's prayer currently includes Scout (Chad's mom and dad's dog) since he was just here at the end of March. I love my girls and my God!!!
